I HAD NO IDEA ROBIN THICKE

So I have just been pleasantly surprised.  I have always liked Robin Thicke's songs, but I knew nothing about his personality, all I knew was that he's a good looking white dude, he sings love songs (so he had to have a lil bit of soul) and that he's married to a very pretty black woman, but i had no idea that his swag was like on a hundred thousand right now! Well apparently NBA player Shaq now playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers is back to his old ways stepping out on his ol' lady Shaunie, but this time it's even worse!  According to theYBF, Shaquille has been sleeping with none other than NBA Player Gilbert Arenas' fiance' Laura Govan.  Everyone knows that dudes in the league cheat ridiculously, but what makes this story a lil different is that Laura Govan is actually suppose to be good friends with Shaq's wife Shaunie....SMDH, how F'd up is that???  There's more here are some of the emails that they have sent each other in the past months....please keep in mind that Laura Govan just gave birth to Gilbert's 3rd child.  Some of these emails have dated back to Dec '08 so you do the math a chick is pregnant for nine months so if ya ask me Gilbert may need to be calling up Maury on this one....YOU ARE NOT THE DADDY! Baltimore's current mayor Sheila Dixon will finally go to trial November 9th regarding her 12 counts of perjury and theft she has been indicted on.  If you have been living under a rock dixon has been accused of accepting $20,000 dollars worth of gifts and accused of accepting gift cards that were allegedly disguised as charity for needy families in Baltimore and going on mini shopping sprees to high-end stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue.  This is what Dixon had to say in her defense "I am being unfairly accused, time will prove that I have done nothing wrong, and I am confident that I will be found innocent of those charges".

 I don't know about ya'll, but if this chick is gonna go through all this trouble selling her story to the tabs why don't she just shut all this ish down and come out with the text messages and really put it out there, if she really has that type of evidence.....DUH!  What ya'll think??

O.k so I was watching Hip-Hop awards, which aired like last week or whatever and two of my favorite artists of all time both performed: Jay-Z and Snoop.  Whenever either one of them were on stage I just went into fantasy/daydream mode, ohhh....I love them..... they both just have so much swag it's ridiculous.  So I got to thinking hmmm....who has the most swag??  I love them both and I just couldn't decide, but I'm from the east coast so that has to give Jay a few more points right? hmmmm....IDK so I have to leave it up to ya'll please help me decide!

In a study done by Dr. Daniel Hamermesh the earnings of attracitive people versus the earnings of the not so attractive were examined.  They found that people that were described as "nice looking" earned 10% more than people that were described as "homely" and to add on, "ugly" men made less than "ugly" women.  The attractive employees were also on a faster salary growth.  In most cases this study was based on equal education and experience so simply put this is a classic case of employer discrimination, customer discrimination or both.  No matter what the occupation this "beauty bias" took precedence, even 66% of mechanic employers reported that attractiveness was a factor when hiring.

SPIKE LEE VERSUS TYLER PERRY

Spike Lee describes Tyler Perry's shows "Meet The Browns" and "House of Payne" as "coonery" and "buffoonery".  Tyler Perry's interview about this will air on Sunday at 7p.m.  I personally don't really like Meet The Browns I never was able to get in to it and I have seen about 10 episodes of House of Payne, but I love Tyler's movie and do not agree with Spike on this one.  I love Spike's movies, but this definitely sounds like a lil bit of jealousy.

NUGGET OF THE WEEK: START SIPPING LADIES

There are recent studies found in the International Journal of Cancer about ways we can reduce our risk of breast cancer.  I didn't know this but I found out that breast cancer is 4-5 times lower in China than in more developed countries like...you guessed it the United States.  The study was done on over 1,000 cancer patients in China and what they found is that women who had traditional diets, specifically mushrooms and green tea experienced better results.  Women who ate 10 grams or more of fresh mushrooms a day were two thirds less likely to develop breast cancer.  Also those same women who drank green tea everyday as well only had 11 to 18% the risk of breast cancer of non consumers.  With that being said drink up!

Does anyone else think that episode 8 from America's Next Top Model that just aired this past Wednesday was freakin hilarious?!!  The episode where they have to write their own script for a cover girl commercial and Erin was done her script in like 5 minutes and bragging to the girls.  Well did ms. erin look like a jacka** or what when she totally failed the challenge, crying about 5 times because she just could not get it done.  I was LMAO! WHILE IN TAIWAN AND CHINA

I had the beautiful opportunity to visit Taiwan and beijing, China a few weeks ago and it was amazing!  It was the very first time I had been outside of the United States and I feel very blessed to have been able to experience that.  We got to visit so many landmarks and the most interesting was getting to see The Great Wall of China.  With that being said I would like to share some pics with you guys.

O.K so i just don't think I could live without Bravo TV.  It's a serious addiction, I mean how can you not with Top Chef, All the real housewives shows, Flipping Out, Project Runway, forget about it![In my best Italian accent] I absolutely adore the Voltaggio brothers especially Michael, I have a thing for cocky, arrogant men...don't know what it is :).  I am definitely rooting for him to go all the way.

Then there's Jeff from the show Flipping Out...love him!  He really just needs to dump his shady business partner Ryan already and move on.  There's just something about Ryan that I don't like, he just seems really sneaky.  Well can't wait for the reunion.
