Baltimore's current mayor Sheila Dixon will finally go to trial November 9th regarding her 12 counts of perjury and theft she has been indicted on. If you have been living under a rock dixon has been accused of accepting $20,000 dollars worth of gifts and accused of accepting gift cards that were allegedly disguised as charity for needy families in Baltimore and going on mini shopping sprees to high-end stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue. This is what Dixon had to say in her defense "I am being unfairly accused, time will prove that I have done nothing wrong, and I am confident that I will be found innocent of those charges".
